Holland Park, the rural district of 19th century was formerly grounds of a Jacobean Mansion. Though Holland Park has no official boundaries but it makes a distinction between Kensington High Street, Holland Road, Holland Park Avenue and Kensington Church Street. Holland Park is about 22 Hectors in area and it experienced bombing in 1940 but it was rebuilt.
